Birth Counseling and Birth Plan Preparation

As a birth counselor, I first meet with you during pregnancy for 1-2 hours to discuss a  previous traumatic event(s) such as a previous childbirth or previous sexual trauma that may affect this pregnancy, labor, delivery or bonding period.  We meet again for about 1-2 hours to develop a birth plan and/or containment strategy for this upcoming birth.  We meet again, one or two times, after the birth, to process the birth.  If continued counseling is needed, you will be referred to a mental health professional in your area.

Fees:  $50 per hour including travel time
